Mr. Hanky Interview
That’s Her Magazine: Can you let everyone know exactly what it is that you do?
Hanky: I’m a producer. I’ve made beats for a lot of rappers from Soulja boy, to V.I.C, to Travis Porter; you know a lot of those guys.
THM: What labels are you working with?
Hanky: I’m working with Collipark of course. And pretty much any other labels who have a check or a budget.
THM: What is the next project you have going on?
Hanky: I’m working on the Tex James project, getting ready to put out another single called “Drop.”…[and] we are coming up with another one. After that, [I’m] getting ready to get back in the studio with Travis Porter so I’ve been working real close with Strap lately; I have a banger coming out with him. Me and Cap 1, who is 2 Chainz artist, got a single going real crazy on the West Coast called Loking. I just did another single with Ying Yang Twins featuring V.I.C, so I’m just working.
THM: Besides Travis Porter and Soulja Boy, who else have worked with that some people may not have known, some tracks you may have produced
Hanky: I did something with Jeezy on his second album called “What You Talking About.” It was about to be a huge single but there were some sample issues. Lil Chuckie from Young Money, I work with him. I did the Trill “Walk Around the Club” record; Translee, and the list goes on.
THM: So you’ve worked with a little bit of everybody.
Hanky: Yes a little bit of everybody that you know.
